Visualizing My Experience at Amal Academy đđ
âExperience is what you get when you didnât get what you wanted. And experience is often the most valuable thing you have to offer.â
â Randy Pausch
This part of the project work is so amazing because I never experienced in life this type of journey. I never thought that I would miss this time so much. So the first two weeks of the fellowship were amazing and exciting at Amal. I have learned many new things during my learning journey with Amal academy so far. When I got selected. I never thought I would meet so many brilliant fellows in this fellowship.
Starting Days at Amal Academy
In starting days, I had no idea how much I would learn from my experience with the organization in the next months. Letâs dive deep into what I have learned and experienced during my first two weeks at Amal Academy. I got to meet my splendid facilitators, an exquisite group of fellows, and my first learning group. It was like I found a family outside of my family, A family with the intention of growing together. The first two to three weeks were very important for me because in these weeks we have identified why we are here, by identifying our goals, whyâs behind goals. Another was Amalâs Principles and Amal values really helpful throughout life. Also, I learned about the unique concept of connecting dots âlife Mapâ.During the 1st week, I learned about the Amal values which were Responsibility, Humility, Growth, Acceptance, and Honesty. We were asked to have an artwork related to that so we can remember them even after the fellowship.
Collectively both these thingsâ Amal valuesâ andâ Act of kindnessâ become my story. it was a wonderful experience in Amal's first two weeks. In the ending, I am very thankful to my Program Manager/facilitator Maâam, Sir Anas and Maâam Sana, my Amal fellows, and the whole Amal team.
